FOR TODAY January 19, 2009
Outside my window...The pitch black of a northern winter night
I am thinking...How good God is to us
I am thankful for...The blessings that God graciously gives us
From the kitchen...Spice cake with penuche frosting for my Hubby's birthday
I am wearing...My jammies
I am creating..A cross stitch based on Proverbs 31
I am hoping...To get my bedroom painted today
I am reading...With Christ in the School of Prayer by Andrew Murray
I am hearing...The fans running
Around the house..Is a mess as it is Monday
One of my favorite things...The happiness a large family brings
A few plans for the rest of the week....To have fun with the children before the winter break is over
Here is picture thought I am sharing...

Spice cake sounds good. I wonder if anyone will make a cake for my birthday later in the week. Probably not, I'll have to do it myself again. Or if they do it I'll end up washing the dishes.
I enjoyed reading your daybook. Have a great week! :)
I enjoyed your daybook. Spice cake sounds good. When you finish the cross stitch could you post it? I've been looking for something like that to do and hang in my kitchen. Is it something you make up?
My but you were an early bird this morning.

I live in NY...we are having temps in the teens..feels downright balmy compared to last week's negative temps!

I love your picture! I used to do a lot of cross-stitching and would love to get into it again, stitching Scripture verses. It's on my "to do list"! :)
I loved reading your daybook. I used to love cross stitch but don't have time for it right now.
