Feminine Friday

Good Morning friends,

I know I have been sadly absent but for some reason the nesting instinct has hit, and as my family would say, It is about time. I have been sorting and cleaning and getting rid of tons of junk from our home.

Today is Feminine Friday, I know it is few and far between, forgive me for that. I am still searching for just the right graphic to go along with this meme. But for today I want to talk about something that I find so feminine, Aprons. I know most people don't think so but there is just something about an apron that I find gets me in the right frame of mind for working around the house. To me there is just something so ladylike about an apron. And there are so many different aprons to choose from.

These aprons make me think of hosting a party for friends or just showing my family they are special as I serve them at the dinner table.

This apron is one of my favorite styles for everyday wear. They are cheap and easy to make so you could make on for each of your daily dresses, or whatever you wear. And it makes your clothing last longer.

If you search you can find aprons that will cover your entire outfit for canning days, aprons that have the entire front in a pocket, called clothspins aprons. There are so many different styles out there, you just have to find the one that works for you. Or like I do, collect aprons!!!
