Yes she is still living

I am wondering how everyone else fits blogging into their summer.

Mine has been one thing after another.  First off our car started to die almost as soon as we moved up north.  Now trying to get a car that will fit our family is not easy.  Especialy as a new baby is due this fall.  That means we need a car for 9.  Well we saw a beautiful suburban that seats 9.   We test drove it for a weekend and just loved it.  It ran so well.  It was time to try and get financing.  Do you know that if you do not have a credit history it is as bad as bad credit.  We found this our the hard way.  We do not use credit cards so we do not have a credit history.  Well Mr. Visionary was going to try one more bank on the day we took the Suburban back.  He got home that evening and told me he could not get a loan.   I was ready to cry when he held out the keys to me and said that God gave us the Suburban.  Then I cried!!!

When he got to work he received a call from the dealership to come right over.  When he got there the dealer had a check written out to the dealership to buy the Suburban for us.  Free and clear.  The person who bought it for us said to say that God gave it to us.  And he certainly did.  He also had given our family a personal check.  It was the amount that tithe on the suburban would be.  PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!

It felt like we were living in a dream.  I read this scripture to the children,

Psa 126

Oh how awesome our God is.

More to come.......

When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

I am so excited to hear about your blessing. What an example at be able to show that children that God does care about the little things, and the big things.

We had someone "gift" us a truck a few years ago when we were in need of a truck for my husband. My husband was praying for a way to "buy" the truck and before we knew how or what to do, the neighbor told his wife, right before he passed away with cancer, to "give" my husband his truck. We could not believe it and to this day, some people still just doesn't get it, that God will provide, in your time of need. It is always, in He time, in His ways, and how He wants to do it.

I am praising God with you !!!

yeah - when we first applied for a house, I had EXCELLENT credit, no income; dh had EXCELLENT income, NO credit. so, no house. I added him to the credit cards I'd had since college (always with a zero balance) and 5 months later he also had EXCELLENT credit.

I was wondering what was going on in your fishbowl. glad things are going well for you. I love the way the Lord provides for those who put their trust in Him. when I was a girl, someone gifted my family with an old Honda civic. that old yellow car lasted FOREVER and when my parents were doing better, and could afford a new car, they passed it on to another family going through hard times. that car ran longer and better than it should have. I think it ran on prayers in addition to gas and oil.
