Our first sick day

As most of you know our children are in Christian school for the first time this year. As a keeper at home with a heart for homeschooling this has been a BIG adjustment.
Today was the first day that we had a sick little one to keep at home. I have to admit that I have adjusted to having the children gone so it has been a bit of an adjustment to having Miss Princess home with us.
We went and bougth the ingredients to chicken noodle soup. I made a big pot for all of us and have been giving her alot of Vitamin C and zinc. I pray she is over this cold soon and that it does not spread to the rest of the family.
Also please head on over to www.apronqueensreviews.blogspot.com and vote for Mrs. B
Thanks
In His Keeping,
Mrs. B

OK This is something that I did not know, your children are in christian school????? Not that there is anything wrong with that but I have to admit I am a little surprised. So where are they going to school?

Oh so sorry you did not know that. Yes they started a christian school here in the area and they asked us if we would put the older ones in to help set the tone for the school. That was an awesome compliment. We put them in with the agreement that we would pull them any time wedeemed it necessary. So far it is working well for us. I MISS homeschooling so much and we will pull them for Jr. high and highschool. Also the school is 4 days a week and then friday they have us parents school the children. Love that so much.

We decided to do this also for personal reasons. I struggle so badly with extreem PPD and PPpsychosis. It is not fun for anyone. And so this will give me a chance to get back on my feet, and get my house back in order.

Well I think that it is great, I am happy for you all, I hope I did not come across to strongly. I was a little shocked, you all were the ones that showed us about homeschooling and so I guess it through me off guard a little. I apologize again.

oh don't worry about it. It took me by suprise also. It was one of those issues that I had to follow my husband and trust he was following the Lord. It was a struggle and we still believe that homeschooling is the best. But for my health we had to take a break. I want my brood home so badly but in the Lord's time.
